Coaching services

A clear path for the person in front of us.

Coaching is personalised, forward-looking and shaped around the goals, values and circumstances of each young person, parent or group.

Understanding the support

What coaching is—and how it differs from therapy.

Both can be valuable forms of support, but they have different purposes. Knowing the distinction can help you choose the right next step.

01

What is one-to-one coaching?

  • A private, focused conversation between the coach and one individual.
  • A respectful space to understand present challenges, values and personal strengths.
  • Forward-looking sessions that help clarify what the individual wants to change or move towards.
  • Thoughtful questions, reflection and agreed actions that support self-awareness and confidence.
  • A personalised process shaped around the individual’s goals and pace—not a fixed formula.
02

How is coaching different from therapy?

  • Coaching generally focuses on the present and future, including awareness, goals, choices and practical next steps.
  • Therapy may explore emotional distress, trauma, mental-health concerns or past experiences requiring clinical care.
  • Therapy is provided by a qualified mental-health professional; coaching is not a clinical or therapeutic service.
  • Coaching does not diagnose, treat or replace support for a mental-health condition.
  • Significant distress, trauma, thoughts of self-harm or symptoms affecting daily life require support from a qualified mental-health professional or an appropriate emergency service.
